Community Story from the Possi Founders – Norm Dominguez and Keith Dyer
F.A.I.T.H.
As the days became weeks, the weeks turned into months and the months to years, positivity conversations about freedom, attitude, imagination, trust and hope became common to our journey. Each of these words would weave their way into the Possi Global Mission, to provide and promote platforms and prompts that create awareness and give Publicity to Positivity, conversation at one point or another over time. Yet, alone have a tremendous impact in bonding the Possi community. Thus giving each word attention with the beginning of a movement that will unite people around the world.
Freedom gives all of us the opportunity to help each other pursue our dreams. Nelson Mandela noted this about freedom, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. All of us throughout our lives are exposed to life-long learning opportunities. Communication tools are becoming more advanced and available as technology carves exciting new mechanisms. Millions, we should note billions of us are finding them to helpful in ways that engage, ignite, inform, enlighten, crusade and much, much more as we embark on this exponential escapade J !!
Attitude is everything. When we treat it with the importance it deserves especially when the direction is positive, the results are truly amazing. This is what drives great leaders. One of the most quoted leaders of the last century was Winston Churchill. During World War II, his inspirational words “never, never, never give up” not only united a nation, but brought support from other nations to bring that war to an end. We welcome this word to the positivity family.
Imagination has continued to produce remarkable innovation since the dawn of the world. One person that gave it light was Walt Disney when he created the happiest place on earth, Disneyland. His creative team, known as Imagineers continues to entertain us. In todays’ environment, we are blessed to have the opportunity to contribute. The players come from many different disciples; education, technology, government, business, religion and many more.
Trust is a foundational component of positivity. When it is felt and respected, anything is possible. As we began the Possi journey, there was constant dialogue as to getting it off the ground. We knew there had to be local and global involve that would allow everyone the flexibility to be part of this much needed movement that tackles the likes of chaos, uncertainty, fear and conflict. From trust comes the character and integrity of a united effort that says we are one!!
Hope makes our dreams real. We are able to build the results that will lead to greatness. From St Francis of Assisi comes this prayer; “Most High, most glorious God, enlighten the darkness of my heart. Grant me a right and true faith, a certain hope and a perfect charity, feeling, and understanding of you, so that I may be able to accomplish your holy and just commands. Amen.” When we allow hope to bring us together with a heavy of positivity, the possibilities are without limit.
In closing, the famous saying from Star Wars comes to mind ‘May the force be with you’, with a slight adjustment, “may the force be with US”.
